Naan Pizza

Whole wheat naan bread made into a pizza.

Essentials (ie. what I used):
– Naan bread (whole wheat, white, anything)
– Tomato sauce
– Tex Mex cheese with jalapeno
– Some kind of sausage with some spice (Pepperoni, summer sausage): sliced or cubed
– Sliced button mushrooms.

Other optionals:
– Onion slices
– Ground black pepper
– Slices of green onions
– Slices of red or yellow bell peppers.

Of course, you can add whatever you like, but I like a bit of a kick. Not a big fan of bell peppers, but whatever floats your boat. đŸ™‚

– Oven safe pan or cookie sheet
– Oven

How to:
1. Place the naan on an oven-safe pan. Do not need to spray with Pam or oil. The naan will be heated enough to be warm and for the cheese to melt.

2. Add the tomato sauce (Add some black pepper here if desired)

3. Add a thin layer of cheese

4. Add sausage bits and mushrooms

5. Add another thin layer of cheese to hold everything together (once it melts, it will!)

6. Put it in the oven or toaster oven and heat until the cheese starts to bubble, or until desired crispiness. For oven temperature, I just used 450F. It’ll only take about 5-10 minutes.

7. Take out of oven

8. Wait about 5-10 minutes to cool

9. Eat.
