Healthy Chickpea Cookie Dough: Round 2


So I made another batch of this, and it turned out much better than the original. This time less sweet, and more chocolate. “More chocolate,” probably only because they were small pieces rather than the little drops. I could probably do with a bit more oats, so when I pull out the rest from the fridge some time, I’ll just throw in a few more tablespoons of it.


  • 1 can (400g) of chickpeas, rinsed
  • 1/8 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup 1% milk
  • 3 tablespoons of rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 7 tbsp of chocolate chips


Put all of the ingredients minus the chocolates chips and blend until smooth. Add in the chocolate chips, and blend until smooth.
